£20 MILLION OF INVESTMENT FOR FARNLEY SECURED

And you’ll decide how it’s spent.

I am extremely pleased to announce that I have secured £20 million of investment for Farnley directly from the government. We’re going to spend £2 million a year in Farnley, every year, for the next decade. The best part is that those who live in Farnley and the surrounding areas will decide how this money is spent (see my survey below).

A Neighbourhood Board will be set up to oversee the money and this board will include people who live in the community. The area covered includes the Whincovers, the Butterbowls and the Bawns. It also includes the Silver Royds and a few small parts of Armley in our constituency, including the Heights across the road from Farnley Reservoir.
